The director of education reform at Reason Foundation, Aaron Garth Smith, joins Paul E. Peterson to discuss Smith’s latest analysis, which shows per-pupil spending increased in 49 out of 50 states during the 2020 fiscal year, while student enrollment declined in 22 states plus the District of Columbia.
